* Note: As of version 1.0.7 this problem will not show up with the default settings in the Book Design Wizard. However if you make adjustments to the page's top margin, the header "from edge" settings or increase the size of your page numbers greatly you may see the problem occur. If you do the following instructions on how to fix it still apply.
If you place the page numbers at the top of the page you may see a slight indent of the first line of text on the left side (even) pages.
This is due to the way Microsoft® Word inserts page numbers. The frame for the page numbers is slightly taller than the header and causes the first line of the text to wrap around the page number frame which looks like a slight indent.
While I have not yet found a way to have Microsoft® Word adjust the page number frame properties automatically when first created by the Book Design Wizard there are a few easy solutions you can do to fix this manually.
Solution One (easiest)
This solution is the easiest to do but will increase the size of your top margin and does not fix the cause of the problem but works around it.
From the Microsoft® Word menu select File > Page Setup and go into the Margins tab.
Change the Top margin to 1.00.
Make sure Apply to is set to "Whole Document" and click OK.

This will make the header taller than the page numbering frame so it fits within the header and doesn't cause the text to wrap.
Solution Two (better but not as easy)
The second solution is a better one but not as easy. It will fix the cause of the problem without increasing your top margin. It involves going into the Headers and adjusting the page numbering frame options.
- Place the cursor in one of the pages that has the problem and click on View > Headers and Footers from the Microsoft® Word menu bar.
- Click your cursor by the page number and you will see a frame outline appear around the page number.
- Click the Frame outline and you will see small black boxes outline the frame.
- Right click to get an options menu and click on Format Frame.
- Then do one or both of the following:
- Select Text Wrapping: None
- Under Size > Height change from Auto to Exactly and reduce the height by a slight amount.
- Click OK.
- Click on Close to exit the Header and Footer tool.

You may need to repeat this process in additional Chapter sections.
Below is what it should look like with the problem fixed.
