Use the Insert a New Poem tool when you want to add an additional poem to your book.

Before using this tool place your cursor in the proper location depending on where you want the poem inserted.

To insert the poem at the end of the poetry section place your cursor within the poetry section.
To insert the poem at a specific location place the cursor at that location.

When your cursor is in the proper position select the Insert a New Poem tool from the Poetry Book Creator toolbar.

The Insert a New Poem form will appear.

Poem Title:

• Enter the title of your poem here.
   

Insert Poem At:

• Current Cursor Location: inserts the poem at the location of your cursor within the document.
• At End of Section: inserts the poem following the last poem in the current section.
   

How Do You Want To Insert The Poem?

• Paste Copied Text: if your poem is currently copied to your clipboard choosing this option will automatically insert it safely into the document.
• Insert Manually: choose this option if you wish to type or insert your poem manually into the document.
   

Poem Alignment:

• Left Aligned: aligns the poem to the left
• Centered: centers the poem in the document
• Right: aligns the poem to the right
   

Insert on New Page?

• Yes: the new poem will start on a brnad new page.
• No: the new poem will immediately follow the previous poem.
   

Save These Settings?

• Yes: will set your choices to be the default for the next time you use the Insert a New Poem tool.
• No: settings will not be saved.
   

Update Table of Contents?

To have the table of contents automatically updated after inserting the poem leave this checked. As the size of the book increases this may start to take longer to do since the document needs to be repaginated every time the table of contents is updated. If you start to notice it slowing down and you are adding a lot of poems  you may want to leave this unchecked then update the table of contents after you are done adding all of the poems.

Click on Insert Poem.
